I’m Mousa Batarseh.

I’m a WordPress developer and e-commerce specialist based in Warren, Michigan. I work across websites, storefront content, and product catalogs, in English and Arabic.

A background in the details

At Universal Wholesale, I ran the company’s WooCommerce store and the Shopify store for its United Textile brand at the same time, with a catalog exceeding 14,000 SKUs. At Wild Bill’s Tobacco, I maintained corporate sites and wholesale content while supporting campaign and merchandising updates.

I now run Smart Ecom Lab, my independent web-development practice. Alongside client work, I’ve built tools such as ASAS Studio and CSV Mapper around the planning and data work that comes with running websites.

How I think about the work

I start with the task someone needs to complete. Then I look at what gets in the way: a page structure, a product record, a confusing price, or an update that depends on someone remembering a step.

I want the fix to be visible and the next check to be clear. That is how I approach an interface, a catalog, and a handoff.
