How this website is built for the people who use our service — and how to reach a person if any of it gets in your way.
Our commitment
Accessibility is the service, not a feature of the website. Every vehicle in the Larkspur Mobility fleet is ADA compliant, and we hold this site to the same intent.
What we have built in
- Body text sized for older eyes — never below 15px on a phone — with high contrast against its background.
- Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on mobile, and a permanent Book / Call bar so no one has to hunt for the phone number.
- Descriptive alt text on images, real heading structure, and labels on every form field.
- Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus states.
- Phone numbers as tap-to-call links throughout.
The service area map
The map on our Book a Ride page is provided by Google Maps. If any part of it is difficult for you to use, call dispatch at (614) 555-0142 or use the contact form and a person will book the trip for you — the phone route is always fully available.
Known gaps
We have not yet had this site independently audited against WCAG 2.1 AA, and no significant barriers have been reported to us so far. We will update this page as soon as a formal audit is complete.
