Universal Wholesale

Running the product catalog behind a 14,000-SKU wholesale storefront.

Universal Wholesale storefront showing navigation, wholesale categories and product browsing

Current live-site reference, captured 26 September 2026. My employment ended in April 2024; later site changes are outside this case’s ownership claim.

The context

My work at Universal Wholesale covered the company’s WooCommerce storefront and its product catalog, alongside the Shopify store for its United Textile brand. With more than 14,000 SKUs, keeping names, categories, prices, inventory, imagery, and search metadata consistent was part of the daily job.

My contribution

I managed product imports and exports, storefront content, navigation, landing pages, and promotions. I also worked on field mapping, record cleanup, and quality checks to prepare catalog data for migration.

Redirects and URL structure were part of the migration work. I also built the wholesale registration workflow and forms, produced promotional banners, coupons, and email assets, coordinated changes with the warehouse team, and handled maintenance and website QA.

The details that matter

Catalog structure: Product fields needed consistent destinations before import.

Storefront content: Collections, descriptions, and images needed to make sense to wholesale buyers.

Change checks: Product records and URLs needed review alongside the page layout.

What this demonstrates

A catalog is a website responsibility as much as a data responsibility. This work brought product information, merchandising, and storefront maintenance into the same workflow.

A conversation is a good place to start.

Let’s talk about
the work.
